Michelle McCray earned her Master of Science in Oriental Medicine from Southwest Acupuncture College in 2007. She is certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine as a Diplomate in Oriental Medicine. This includes certification in Acupuncture, Biomedicine, and Chinese Herbology. Michelle is the owner and principal acupuncturist at Avalon Acupuncture. She has a strong interest in traditional plant based medicinal systems stemming from her background in Chemistry and Ethnobotany. Her areas of specialty include women’s health, herbal medicine, and pain management. Michelle is very passionate about helping people to heal and to live to their fullest potential.
